Fashion Scout Daily Social Media Content Strategy- Instagram Contest

Create:

• A brief blog post outlining the Instagram contest and the rules for participation along with an eye-catching photo or image to be shared on all Fashion Scout Daily social platforms

• A short video to accompany this blog post featuring one of our company’s bloggers demonstrating her personal style

• Promote this contest throughout its duration on all our social channels

• Continual updates with what products are currently in the app

Commotion:

• We will host a weekly “social party” with #MyFSDStyle to encourage people to post their photos to Instagram

• We will ask our followers on Facebook and Twitter “How would you style a floral romper this spring? #MyFSDStyle.” Those who respond will be directed to the contest and asked that they tag a friend who they think would also be a good participant

Compel:

• We will share the best entries of the week on Fashion Scout Daily’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest page until the winner is announced. Think of it as a “finalist” preview.

• We will also reach out to popular fashion bloggers so that they will participate and share our contest with their followers.

Consistency: 

• #MyFSDStyle will be present on all social posts that go on during the promotion of this contest

• The hot pink Fashion Scout Daily logo will be present in all promotional blog posts and videos

• Each Friday we will announce the “look of the week” finalist leading up to the announcement of the winner

SEO Plan:

            For our SEO plan we will want to attract people who are interested in Spring 2015 Fashion Trends, since that is going to be a popular search within the next few months.  We plan to increase our SEO is by starting with our keywords and looking at what our customers will be searching for as well as what our competitors are using for thier keywords. We want them to come across our Instagram contest because not only do we have spring trends in our app but we want them to see what outfits other users are putting together for Spring 2015. This will hopefully peak their interest in our app’s products.
